Nonviolent Direct Action (NVDA) Training

This training day will include sessions on what is violence, how our actions might be seen by others, the legal process, how Affinity Groups work, looking after ourselves, and some practical exercises of demo scenarios.
If you’re not sure whether or not you wish to take part in direct action, this training may help you make an informed decision. It may be useful for people to support others, even if you have no intention of taking part in direct action yourself. Participants are welcome to step away at any point if they do not feel comfortable.
